THE ROLE
The Senior Infrastructure Manager will be a subject matter expert for their technology tower, displaying extensive technical knowledge and experience. Responsibilities include:
* Proactive management of technology infrastructure.
* Accountability for delivering Infrastructure Transformation Programmes with multi-million-pound budgets.
* Liaising with stakeholders via the Infrastructure Governance Forums.
* Providing strategic guidance to Infrastructure Managers.
* Ensuring new services conform to solid infrastructure standards.
* Acting as the central point of contact for technology-related decisions.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
* Develop Infrastructure Improvement Plans focused on service quality.
* Contribute to cross-functional forums to build relationships with stakeholders.
* Establish yourself as a subject matter expert for your infrastructure tower.
* Manage your professional development and identify training opportunities.
* Engage stakeholders to support decision-making processes.
* Attend regular meetings to promote visibility of infrastructure activities.
* Understand infrastructure roadmaps and upgrade implications.
* Review and approve high-risk infrastructure changes and new services.
* Develop an executive summary report for your infrastructure tower.

* ITIL Foundation
* Core Skills: Wintel, Core Infrastructure Services, AD, DNS, DHCP, IIS, SMTP, Enterprise Backup, VMWARE, Hyper-V, AVD
* Midrange: Linux/Unix based systems, Oracle DB, DB2
* Soft Skills: Stakeholder Management, Capacity Management, Executive Reporting, Data Insights
