Finance Assistant | PE backed Company | Salary £40,000 - £50,000 + 20% bonus
I am currently working with a PE backed company looking for a Finance Assistant to come and join the team. My client is building out a new function within Group and are looking for ambitious individuals to come in and play a key role in setting up this function.
You will be reporting into a Senior Group Finance Manager and work closely with various entities across the global streamlining processes and supporting the Group.
Your duties will include but are not limited to;
* Monthly Balance Sheet Reconciliations in Blackline.
* Preparing and monitoring recurring journal templates.
* Assisting with monthly financial close requirements.
* Maintenance of the Fixed Asset Register.
* Assist in ad-hoc General Ledger account postings including but not limited to: Payroll, Pension, Finance Leases.
* Assist in preparing and monitoring the weekly Cash Flow reports.
* Assist in the monthly forecasting process in Board.
* Preparation of Audit requests.
* Creating of projects/jobs in the ERP.
* Assist in the preparation of VAT and Tax returns.
For this role you will be either part-qualified and working towards your qualification or qualified by experience, if you speak a second language either French, Spanish or Mandarin this would be advantageous. You will need to have done a similar role previously and have experience working with multiple ERP systems.
This role is based in the office 5 days a week
