Finance AssistantStockportSalary £20,092 to £21,748 An exciting and challenging opportunity has arisen within Stockport Homes’ Corporate Finance team. Reporting to the Finance Team Leader you will be joining a team where joint working and sharing of information is vital.You will be responsible for processing a variety of financial transactions including Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable items as well as being involved with Balance Sheet reconciliations and handling Petty Cash. Excellent communication skills are essential in order to raise and deal with queries from internal and external customers, in writing, over the phone and face to face.The post holder will work on SAP, the company’s financial system and other computer packages including the repairs and maintenance works management system.The successful applicant will need to maintain high levels of accuracy and attention to detail whilst managing large volumes of data. You will be skilled at prioritising a wide range of tasks and organising a busy and varied workload.
