What will this role achieve? The Global Supply Chain Finance team supports our Manufacturing and Logistics operations across all our geographies, helping to ensure we make effective decisions. The areas we cover include: understanding and reporting on performance to drive improvements and standardisation, evaluating project business cases, co-ordinating and closely supporting the Global Supply Chain Sr. Fin Mgr & Global Supply FD in planning and forecasting processes, and aiding strategic decision-making. As the Global Supply Chain Finance Manager, you will collect, review, analyse and report all aspects of Supply Chain performance, helping to identify areas of opportunity across the regions. As part of the reporting, you will lead the system and process improvements required for us to meet the ever-changing demands of our key business partners You will also lead the financial support of all product sourcing requests, and will support other decision-making and driving of process improvements. This role reports into the Global Supply Chain Senior Finance Manager and together you look after all aspects of manufacturing and logistics finance, reporting into the Head of Global Supply Chain Finance. That role also has a small Procurement Finance team reporting into it What will be your key deliverables? Prepare monthly and quarterly reporting packs covering supply chain performance, collecting and reviewing the data to ensure accuracy, and then analysing it for any key areas to investigate further with regional contacts. Co-ordinate monthly reporting process to ensure timely close. Support quarterly regional reviews with regions and drive the follow-up of action plans. Lead Quarterly Quality complaints reporting seeking necessary alignments to ensure it is ready to be presented to the Board by CSCO. Lead and work with the Regions to get an understanding of the productivity projects contributing to In Plan / Out of plan productivity. Build a robust productivity database. Support supply chain planning and forecasting processes. Lead development work with IT support partners to develop our data and analytics system capability Lead sourcing strategy analysis – where we evaluate the best location to produce our products for our different markets. Support key business partners including Chief Supply Chain Officer and members of their team Support members of the Global SC Finance team Perform other ad-hoc analysis using internal and external data to identify opportunities Communicate with regional finance and supply chain teams, providing support and guidance where required. Assist with capital investment project evaluation What do you need for this role? Crucial Completed or near completion of a recognised professional accounting qualification such as CIMA/ACA/ACCA Proven experience in an analytical and business-oriented role, ideally within a Supply Chain function Experience of pulling together data to form clear insights into financial understanding Ability to identify and enact process improvements Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint Preferred Degree qualified Positive teammate with a desire to challenge and drive improvement Ability to plan optimally and work under own initiative pladis is an Equal Opportunity Employer, committed to hiring a diverse workforce.
