Would you like to be part of our Careline alarm response team providing specialist advice and support to vulnerable residents across Newark and Sherwood and neighbouring districts?
As part of the growth of our team, we are looking for an individual to join our Careline Service and to work alongside professional, committed and experienced colleagues who are passionate about the work they do.
The primary focus of the role is to provide a call monitoring response to our customers. You will need to assess the situation and determine the appropriate action. You must therefore be able to remain calm under pressure.
We offer a competitive salary, enrolment in the local government pension scheme, generous annual leave entitlement that increases with service, free car parking (free staff parking is valid until June 2026) and a range of other benefits including £10 gym membership at one of our four gyms in the district and a funded health cash plan.
For more information about the role, please contact Ian Jackson on ian.jackson@newark-sherwooddc.gov.uk - Careline Team Leader.
To apply please visit our website: where you can apply online. Please include a supporting statement detailing how you meet the essential criteria for the role. This will be considered more favourably than a generic application.
Closing Date: Sunday 9 March 2025
Interviews: Thursday 20 March 2025
As an employer we will promote an inclusive working environment to maintain and develop a forward thinking and diverse workforce.
Veterans/family of forces/ex-forces, those in care/care leavers, and candidates who declare disabilities (as defined by the Equality Act 2010) will be guaranteed interviews provided they have demonstrated that they meet the essential criteria of the post as detailed in the Person Specifications on their application forms.
