Job Overview:
Category Marketing Managers need to know every detail of the product category, including market and consumer trends, competition, and how to leverage consumer insights to seize future opportunities. This role focuses on making the category stand out amidst increasing competition from rival food manufacturers and retailers.
Role Details:
This role involves working with own label products and well-known brands in a team based all over the UK. You will have the flexibility to work from home, with less than 20 site visits per year.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Work closely with commercial and development teams to support future projects.
2. Provide vital consumer insights into market trends.
3. Engage with relevant contacts in retail.
4. Collaborate with product development and commercial teams.
5. Analyze data to create commercially advantageous plans.
6. Communicate effectively in both verbal and written forms.
Your Background:
1. Experience in marketing or commercial roles, ideally in category management.
2. Excellent numerical and analytical skills, proficient with retail data sources (e.g., Kantar, IRI).
3. Strong communication skills.
4. Some customer-facing experience is preferred.
5. Able to work to deadlines and prioritize effectively.
6. Qualified to degree level.
