This organisation are providing a vital service within the not-for-profit sector and boast a supportive and enriching work environment. This is the perfect role for a qualified Accountant with experience managing a teams and budgets looking to take the next step in their career.
The role:
1. Support the Finance Director and the Senior Finance Management Team with the development and implementation of the Finance strategy
2. Represent the Finance Department in organisational project teams to support change initiatives.
3. Support the Senior Finance Manager with the Finance team operational planning, self-assessment processes and the development, implementation and review of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
4. Contribute to the management of Financial Performance by providing timely and accurate Monthly Management Accounts, budgeting and forecasting
5. Provide vital flexibility to assist on various financial projects and provide the organisation with stability
6. Support the Director of Finance with other projects as required.
The person:
7. You must be qualified CCAB accountancy body (CIMA/ACCA/ACA)
8. Self-motivated and well-organised; able to work to a high standard with minimum supervision, and use initiative to solve problems
9. Advanced IT skills comprising Microsoft Excel, Access, PowerPoint and SAP or equivalent
10. Be able to work strategically in line with senior management to deliver financial support and strategic planning
11. Be able to demonstrate a flexible approach to work and meeting the needs of the organisation
