About the role:
Reporting to the Group Reward Director you’ll contribute to the development of, and be responsible for themanagement and administration of remuneration programmes for Board, ExCo andother Senior Management roles. You’ll work closely with key stakeholders acrossthe Group and external advisers to ensure the executive remuneration frameworkattracts, retains and motivates top-tier talent whilst complying withregulations, shareholder and other stakeholder interests, and necessary governancepractices.
The role will take the lead on preparing all regulatorysubmissions and disclosures as they relate to remuneration, such as theDirectors’ Remuneration Report. It will also lead the preparation of the annualplan and all materials for the Drax Group Remuneration Committee meetings, suchas drafting of papers.
This is an individual contributor role which collaboratesextensively with cross-function teams (HR, Finance, Company Secretariat, andothers) and manages external advisers and vendors. The incumbent in this rolewill be the Group’s subject matter expert on executive compensation globally (whichis principally UK and US for now) and will develop and maintain strongrelationships with Senior Management and Board members.
Who we’re looking for:
Tobe successful in this role you’ll have significant previous executivecompensation experience in a publicly traded company, or through consulting ina management consultancy or audit firm. A deep understanding of executivecompensation principles and practices, governance standards and complianceregulatory requirements, and also of equity-based compensation vehicles withregards to cultural fit, local practices and administration requirements andprocesses. You’ll ideally have a bachelor’s degree, preferably in HR, Business,Finance, Accounting or a related field.
You’llpossess excellent written and presentation skills (Word and PowerPoint), withextensive experience in writing Remuneration Committee papers and publicdocuments reports and other disclosures. Alongside stellar communication skillswith the ability to influence and build relationships with senior leaders andthe ability to work in a consultative and collaborative manner withcross-functional teams including HR, Company Secretariat, Finance and Legal.
Witha sophisticated knowledge of Microsoft Excel you’ll have excellent analyticalskills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data, and excellentorganisational and project management skills with high attention to detail. A highlevel of integrity and discretion when handling confidential information isalso required for this position.

* Salary of £100,000 - £120,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
* A discretionary bonus of up to 40% of base salary depending on company performance
