Description This director position is responsible for managing business operations and resources of a given practice that can be defined by industry, service line, technology center, specialty area or region. Responsible for managing the three main pillars of a practice: people management, portfolio/delivery management and sales enablement. Has profit and loss responsibility or financial/expense management of practice. Accountable for operational/financial metrics and overall business results of practice. Responsible for maintaining strategic direction, ensuring profitable growth of the practice, quality of consulting delivery, and maintaining customer referenceability. Develops strategy and plans to successfully implement operational policies and achieve business objectives. Accountable for managing and growing a significant revenue stream and customer base. Typically manages multiple first line managers and/or senior level individual contributors. Resolves staffing issue in complex engagements. May serve as advisor or project sponsor role for moderately complex engagements. 10 years of experience relevant to this position including 5 years of consulting experience and 2 years of project management leadership experience. Direct line Management experience including project, people, customer, financial management preferred. Product, technology or industry expertise relevant to the practice focus. Ability to develop and maintain relationships at the executive level. Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience. Ability to travel as needed. Responsibilities Global IP Domain Leader – ERPM / SCM Job Description As a member of the global IP domain leadership team, this is a senior leadership role within Oracle Services specially focussed on ERPM & SCM. S/He will drive the lifecycle of high-quality IP for re-use or linked to specific campaigns. This IP will be consumed by Oracle Services (Oracle Consulting and ACS) globally. This will require producing and maintaining the IP plan and strategy for the domain and driving adoption. In addition, the role will lead the global IP domain board for ERPM & SCM consisting of business development leaders, GSC group heads, IP regional domain leaders from and other key stakeholders. This role requires a very good network of contacts across the domain not only within Oracle Services, but also with Licence sales, Presales and Product Development, also knowledge of projects within the domain and any thought-leadership or leading edge solutions. This role will be expected to lead and drive the leadership community of the domain within global Oracle Services, both seeking out new, highly valuable and strategically important IP and publishing effectively to that community. The role will also be expected to collaborate on cross-domain activities to ensure Oracle Services has a coherent and complete portfolio of solutions for re-use on a project. Responsibilities Lead the ERPM & SCM global IP domain leadership board(s) Animate the domain community, elaborate IP enablement/training certification Provide programme management services to approved IP investment projects Plan, define, manage, harvest domain-relevant IP to cover full customer engagement lifecycle Engage with the field in the rollout and execution of IP on projects.
