We are currently recruiting for an HR Manager based at our office in Skelmersdale.
This is a new role and will report directly to our HR Director, to ensure that all practices are managed and integrated into our Green Parts Specialists business. Initially, this will be a startup role, where you will help shape a positive workplace culture.
It is a standalone HR role, supported by a wider HR team based in Bedfordshire. You will lead the entire HR function within a large operational site and three small remote locations. You will initiate all policy and process whilst maintaining a strategic and commercial mindset.
You’ll be a trusted partner for employees and managers, get fully immersed in employee relations and wellbeing, drive process improvements, and oversee key moments in the employee lifecycle.
You will be an experienced and qualified HR professional, with a passion for delivering excellence across the full spectrum of HR-related activities in a highly operational business.

What we need from you:
* CIPD Level 7 qualification, relevant degree, or qualified by experience
* Previous experience gained from an operational HR Manager role
* Expert knowledge of UK employment law and HR practices
* A passion for employee engagement
* Excellent attention to detail, taking pride in your work
* Ability to establish effective relationships across remote management at operational level
* Team leadership capabilities
* An outgoing demeanour, with experience in implementing HR practices in an environment new to HR
* Great work ethic and a flexible approach to any situation
