What you will do in your working day
Applicants must have some learning, experience and understanding of engineering as some duties will require this.
Day to duties include but are not restricted to;
* Trainee engineer learning all aspects of blow mould making
* Being part of a team that manufacture from start to finish quality moulds for the food, beauty and agricultural industries
* Day to day learning to programme, set and operate CNC milling machines
* Being able to a team player working to deadlines and schedules

Harlow College offers 2 different routes through the Engineering Technician Apprenticeship Standard.
Qualifications achieved:
Level 2 Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (Competence)
Level 2 Diploma in Machining (Knowledge)
You will be required to achieve the following qualifications:
Level 3 Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (Competence) - Machining / Mechatronics
Level 3 Diploma or Extended Diploma in Machining/Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (Knowledge)
What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship
* This is a permanent position. There is a lot of chance for progression into CAD/CAM roles within the company for the right candidate. Training in ongoing at all times.
