About Us
Our purpose-built practice has plenty of onsite parking and is ideally situated close to the town centre and within a 7-minute walk of Epsom train station. The practice offers a range of state-of-the-art equipment including digital X-ray, ultrasound with Doppler, a growing orthopaedic kit, and separate dog and cat wards. We also have peripatetic orthopaedic and cardiac vets who visit which enables us to do more in-depth surgery and work up cases within our practice.
You will be joining a fun, hardworking, dedicated team of 3 Vets, 3 RVNs, 2 SVNs, 2 VCAs, and 3 receptionists all trying to make a difference to our clients by offering exceptional patient and client care with community at our core.
What we’re looking for:
You will have had previous experience in managing a team, be an effective communicator, with good organisational and time management skills. You enjoy building relationships with our clients and with the team and have a passion for developing and coaching our colleagues.
As our Practice Manager, you’ll ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the business and support our Practice Owner in achieving key business objectives. Your responsibilities will include overseeing daily operations to ensure seamless service delivery, upholding our ethos as the friendliest practice in the area, managing and implementing HR policies for a valued team, resolving challenges swiftly to maintain excellent client service, recruiting, training, and developing team members, and managing your own schedule to achieve operational goals.
Key Requirements:
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, encourage, and manage the team effectively.
* Proven team management experience.
* Strong communication, organisational, and time-management skills.
* Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office.
* A passion for coaching and developing colleagues.
* Dedication to building strong relationships with clients and the team.
This role is full-time working 40 hours a week, including some weekends but no OOH.
