SEN Learning Support Assistant (LSA)
Location - Bexley
We are currently seeking passionate and dedicated Learning Support Assistants (LSA) for part-time and full-time opportunities. These are long-term roles, with the potential for ongoing work and temporary contracts.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide one-to-one or small group support to students aged 16-19 years with special educational needs (SEN).
Assist in delivering tailored learning activities and interventions to help students succeed academically.
Support students with a range of needs, including autism, ADHD, learning disabilities, and other SEN.
Help manage classroom behaviour, promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to create and implement personalized education plans.
Assist with the development of students' social, communication, and independence skills.Key Requirements:
Previous SEN experience is essential.
An Enhanced DBS check is required (if you do not have one, it can be arranged).
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students and staff.
A compassionate, proactive approach to working with young people with diverse needs.
Ability to support a positive, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment.Role Details:
