Are you a Project Manager looking to work on building projects that can change the world, projects that are always more complex and innovative than the last?
If so we are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join our team in Southampton to work on various projects in the public and private sectors. You will be joining a team of like-minded experts that have a passion for innovation and delivering cutting edge solutions.
Our Southampton office has a team of 15 Project Managers, who are friendly, busy and motivated, with an established track record of successfully delivering local and overseas projects that are both complex and exciting. Our sectors include but are not limited to; Commercial, Residential, Hospitality, Sports Venues, Work Places, Education, Government and Healthcare.
Some of our flagship work in recent years include:
* Palace of Westminster
* Southbank Place
* Arctic Science centres
* The Bank of England
* BBC Broadcasting House
* The Titanic building in Belfast
* The St Pancras Chambers Hotel in London
As a Project Manager joining our team, here's what you'll do:
* Manage one or more moderately complex project, involving a combination of the following:
* Clients with a regional geographic footprint; OR,
* Projects involving multiple services provided by regional IE offices; OR,
* Other complexities, such as projects that involve litigation, environmental protection, due diligence, etc.
* May manage all phases of projects (from beginning to close out).
* Works mostly independently but receives basic instruction on specific assignments, objectives, complex features and possible solutions.
* Receives technical guidance on unusual or complex problems and supervisory approval on proposed plans for projects.
* May supervise: senior level engineers (all disciplines applicable), as well as project administration, project controls, scheduling, cost control, estimating and procurement representatives.

Here's what we're looking for:
As the successful applicant you will have the following experience and qualifications:
Minimum Requirements:
* You will need to be from a consultancy or client organisation with the ability to successfully support and lead construction projects.
* Pre and post contract design/project management expertise over the RIBA lifecycle.
* Excellent communication and organisational skills.
* JCT &/or NEC Contract Administration (Accreditation a positive).
* Maintain accurate project records (both paper and electronic).
* Robust Stakeholder Management process.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Professional Qualification - ideally Project Management/Construction/Engineering/Quantity Surveying Master's Degree.
* Chartered Status with the RICS, CIOB, RIBA, ICE or other equivalent institution.
* APM affiliation preferred (as secondary accreditation).
* Prince 2 or MSP experience is desirable but not essential.
