Student Welfare and Attendance Assistant

The Governors wish to appoint a Student Welfare and Attendance Assistant. The successful applicant will be responsible for administering First Aid support as appropriate to the pupils of the school and where necessary the staff, as well as to support, monitor and improve pupil attendance and wellbeing.
It is desirable that applicants hold a Level 3 Award in First Aid at Work or equivalent and training will be provided to applicants who do not hold this qualification. You will work closely with the House Heads and will be based in the school’s Pastoral Office alongside the Attendance Officer.
The hours of work are 37 hours a week Monday to Thursday 8.00 a.m. to 4.00 p.m. and 3.30 pm. on Fridays (term time plus inset days). If you would prefer to work less than 37 hours a week, please indicate on your application form your preferred hours and days of work.
The actual salary is £21,623 to £21,965 a year for 37 hours a week term time (plus inset days) Monday to Friday (40 working weeks, 46.20 paid weeks a year). The salary is based on Single Status, Grade 4, spinal points 9 to 10, £24,404 to £24,790.
