Purchase Ledger Assistant - Temp
* Annual Salary: 14-15 per hour
* Location: East Kilbride
* Job Type: Full-time, fully office based (39 hour working week)
Reed Accountancy have partnered with our client in their search for a Purchase Ledger Assistant to join their head office team based in East Kilbride. This is a crucial role for supporting the department while ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. You will manage a range of supplier accounts, process invoices, perform statement reconciliations, and resolve queries effectively.
Day-to-day of the role:
* Matching, batching & coding supplier invoices
* Processing high volumes of invoices
* Preparing BACS payment runs
* Supplier statement reconciliations
* Monitoring accounts payable mailboxes
* Raising purchase orders
* Ad hoc duties as required
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Strong communication skills
* Previous experience in a Purchase Ledger role
* Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Excel and the ability to work across multiple applications
* Experience in a high-volume transaction environment
* Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks
* Commitment to strict deadlines and motivating staff to achieve these
* High level of accuracy and attention to detail
