THE ROLE: With 208 bedrooms, our in room dining service provides guests with an array of meals drinks and snacks in the comfort of their bedroom or suite all round the clock. Working as part of a small room service team the scope of your role will be to support the operation and provide guests with a five star room service experience and proficient delivery of in room dining order of service. Key things you will be responsible for: Confident, menu and service knowledge Preparing for service - Mise en place Cleanliness and presentation of your section Setting trolleys Building floor walks for tray replenishment Excellent communication skills with professional telephone manner Providing recommendations and taking orders Suggesting pairings Liaison with the kitchen team and clear communication of special dietary requirements Checking satisfaction and handling additional requests and feedback Capturing guest preferences and special requests for future reference Billing, presentation and payments Requisitions and secure handling of stock Any other duties as required WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR: We recruit people with widely varying personalities from different walks of life and backgrounds.
