About the role
The ideal candidate will have a teaching qualification alongside a degree in Business. You will be required to teach Business Studies at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. This Business Studies teaching role is due to start September 2024 and will run for the full academic year on a direct contract with the school.
The successful candidate will have an excellent knowledge of the National Curriculum and will be able to plan innovative and engaging lessons that will meet the needs of children with a variety of abilities. You must also be approachable, inspiring, enthusiastic and be able to quickly build relationships. This is a great time to join us and become part of our committed teaching team.

The school is situated on the outskirts of Preston and prides itself on high level teaching and therefore looking for a teacher that demonstrate excellent subject knowledge. The successful English Teacher will work in a supportive and friendly department and wider school environment. The school is forward thinking and benefits from a proactive Senior Leadership team.
Requirements
To be considered for the Teacher of Business Studies position you will:
1. Have experience teaching Business Studies to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
2. Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
3. Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of Secondary teachers
4. Have a passion for teaching with the ability to plan and deliver inspiring lessons
