We are looking for a permanent Warehouse/ Fine Art Packer for our client based in Slough.
Hours: Monday - Friday 08:00 - 17:00
Salary: Paying up to £35,000 per annum
Duties:
1. Professional handling, packing and crating of sensitive and valuables.
2. Packing and crating for local, domestic and international transport.
3. Professionally and efficiently wrap, load, span, tie in artworks within a truck/container to keep them safe and stable during transport.
4. Inspecting products to determine how, where, when, or if, to touch them and how to pack for transport.
5. Visit client premises to conduct site surveys, to ascertain access, best practices etc.
6. Expertly installing products, sculptures, and high-end furniture.
7. Efficiently handling paperwork including bills of lading, labeling, timesheets, and detailed condition reports with photos.
8. Communicating with operations team throughout the day.
9. Thorough understanding and use of proper packing materials for all surfaces.
Key Attributes:
1. Thorough understanding and a minimum of 5 years experience with industry standards for handling, packing, transporting, and installing high-end furniture, art, and antiques.
2. Ability to efficiently wrap/pack sensitive and valuable furniture, works of art, and antiques.
3. Be physically fit and have the ability to work comfortably on ladders, scaffolding, or mechanized lifts.
4. Professional appearance and demeanor.
5. Familiar with art terminology.
6. Driving license.
