The Senior HRIS Analyst at Protolabs provides essential services to maintain and administer the HRIS and other systems supporting the HR function, acting as an internal advisor and contributor delivering HR process, data and technology to the company globally. This position implements, organizes and maintains the global human resources information systems (HRIS) and related policies and procedures designed to obtain, record, and process employee information. The successful candidate will independently evaluate, analyse, design, implement and maintain the HRIS in support of the organizations data management and reporting needs. Contributes to the identification of new HR needs and the software products to fulfill these needs.
What you'll do:
1. HRIS Configuration, Maintenance, and Administration (30%):
1. Responsible for system administration of various HRIS and applications including Core HR, Time Management, and more.
2. Collaborate with HR and business leaders to define technical requirements and configure systems accordingly.
3. Maintain and update user guides, control tables, and documentation.
4. Conduct system testing, upgrades, and manage vendor integrations.
5. Support HRIS by resolving issues and recommending solutions for process improvements and compliance updates.
2. Data Management, Analysis, and Reporting (30%):
1. Provide HR data expertise and insights to stakeholders through data organization and presentation.
2. Develop reports and metrics, create queries, and maintain data exports for system integration.
3. Perform complex data analysis, ensure data accuracy, and manage system interfaces.
4. Conduct system audits, including payroll auditing, and test system enhancements.
3. Core HR Process Design, Execution, and Improvement (40%):
1. Design and implement procedures for managing employee records and HR data accurately.
2. Create workflows for data exchange, incorporate governance, and ensure process documentation is clear.
3. Lead and manage HR process workflows, supporting various annual activities such as payroll, performance management, and compensation review.
4. Implement process improvements, offer technical solutions, and work collaboratively to enhance HR functionalities.

* Extensive experience within HRIS
* Proficient understanding of general Human Resources business practices
* Proficiency with relational database architecture
* Advanced skills with Microsoft Office, with emphasis on Excel
