Job Description:
Our client, a financial services client in London, is recruiting for an Administration Assistant to join their Investment Management team on a 6-month fixed term contract basis.
Skills/Experience:
1. Previous experience in a similar role in Financial Services, the Investment or Wealth Management industry
2. Understanding of the regulatory environment
3. Strong communications skills and proactivity
Core Responsibilities:
1. Handle incoming telephone calls, take clear messages, and maintain a positive and professional image of the business.
2. Provide flexible administrative support, including covering reception duties when required, such as answering calls, welcoming guests, and preparing meeting rooms.
3. Ensure all client correspondence and records are accurately maintained and filed in a timely and organised manner.
4. Open client accounts in compliance with AML regulations.
5. Process and monitor amendments to client account information.
6. Support portfolio transfers both in and out of the organisation.
7. Obtain and review Capital Gains Tax (CGT) information.
8. Facilitate internal transfers of holdings between accounts.
9. Process and monitor account closures.
