Weekly Salary: £425 to £450
Contract: Temporary (opportunities to go perm)

An outstanding Special School in Coventry is seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team on a full-time basis.
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and other support staff to provide a nurturing and inclusive learning environment for students with a range of special educational needs, including autism, communication difficulties, and complex learning needs. Your role will involve:
1. Supporting students on a 1:1 basis and in small groups.
2. Assisting in implementing individual education plans (IEPs).
3. Encouraging social and emotional development through positive reinforcement and engagement.
4. Helping to create an accessible and stimulating classroom environment.
5. Working collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and parents to ensure student progress.
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who:
1. Has previous experience working with children with SEN, particularly those with autism and complex needs.
2. Is patient, empathetic, and adaptable to different learning styles.
3. Can communicate effectively and work as part of a team.
4. Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
5. Holds (or is willing to work towards) relevant qualifications such as Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant or equivalent.
6. Must have an enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one.
