This role needs to be based out of our Glasgow site with flexibility on when you go into the office. What you'll be doing:
* First line management of IAST ServiceNow helpdesk cases.
* Security Training as required for all new and existing staff - Deliver Security Education Briefings and Awareness training, Defence Learning Environment training and New starter security briefings.
* Collate all required security training certificates for SSCL Glasgow and maintain an electronic record.
* Audits of contractor employee records against contractor user accounts to identify and remove unused accounts, reporting the status each month.
* Capture, record and hold new starters physical signature and acceptance of various internal policies for Glasgow.
* Resolving vetting queries for Glasgow based staff.
* Second line support to the Protective Security Lead with Security Incident Management.
* Other security duties needed to support IAST, the wider account or SSCL.
Understanding of Access requests and Change Management processes.
* Good working knowledge of ServiceNow, SSCL and DBS Systems.
* Basic understanding of Physical, IT and Information Security.
* Training delivery experience.
* Excellent organisational skills.
* A passion and enthusiasm for learning new skills.
It would be great if you had:
* Security related skills and experience.
* Qualifications in IT, Security or Business Management.
