We are looking to recruit a Catering Assistant to join our team at Yr Hafod Residential Care Home.
The role includes:
* General kitchen duties including washing up of equipment and utensils and the cleaning of all areas and surrounds.
* Preparing and serving an evening meal to the residents.
* Maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness in all areas of the kitchen at all times.
* Ensuring observance of Food Safety and Environmental Health standards.
On a day-to-day basis you will:
* Undertake the preparation and serving of an evening meal for the residents to include beverages.
* General kitchen duties including washing up of equipment and utensils and the cleaning of all areas and surrounds.
* Setting up the tables and clearing if required.
* Recording the temperature of food at the point of service.
* Ensuring observance of Food Safety and Environmental Health standards.
* Ensuring EEC standards on Manual Handling.
* General Health and Safety of the kitchen including hazardous equipment.
