Management Accountant

£55,000 + bonus & great benefits
London - hybrid working (3 days office / 2 wfh)
Key Responsibilities:
Monthly Close Process
1. Oversee the monthly reporting cycle for stock and associated balances within the accounting system for all brands across the group, ensuring accurate reporting for multiple areas.
2. Prepare reconciliations for related balance sheet accounts, including accruals and prepayments.
3. Provide monthly stock balance reports to relevant business units as needed.
4. Manage payroll processing for central and retail staff, including the handling of bonus and incentive accruals, and analyse discrepancies against budgets and forecasts.
5. Support additional month-end close processes and conduct analysis as necessary.
Year-End Process
1. Act as a primary point of contact for auditors, assisting with audit queries and providing necessary information.
2. Assist with the preparation of key disclosures and notes for statutory accounts.
Additional Responsibilities
1. Collaborate with the Finance Systems & Reporting manager and the IT team to ensure effective ERP system integration's.
2. Provide coaching and training for junior team members, fostering skill development and growth within the team.
About You:
1. Newly qualified in CIMA / ACCA - ESSENTIAL.
2. Proficiency in Excel (formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUPs)
3. Background in retail, general consumer or multi-site operations - Highly advantageous.
4. Excellent professional communication skills, both written and verbal.
