Projects & Change Controls Transformation Senior Manager Role Purpose At Flutter, we are embarking on an ambitious global finance overhaul initiative over the next three years. This initiative includes an ICFR pillar to ensure our finance organization is well-managed and balanced. The Projects & Change Controls Senior Manager will be accountable for ensuring that the finance overhaul initiative itself is well-managed and delivered according to Flutter’s policies. This role requires implementing relevant program and change controls, both business and IT, providing a clear audit trail of the groundbreaking changes. Additionally, this role ensures that other finance-impacting projects have appropriate change and program controls in place, engaging all relevant finance collaborators at the right time. Accountabilities & Responsibilities Lead the day-to-day oversight of programme and change controls for the finance transformation programme and embed these controls in other finance-impacting projects. Develop balanced processes to embed programme and change controls into future finance-impacting projects, refining existing processes and crafting new ones as required. Manage internal and external support to deliver specific elements of the ICFR project plan according to planned costs and timetables. Report on the status of programme and change controls for the finance transformation programme to the Finance Transformation Programme Director, highlighting areas for improvement. Provide regular project management reporting to the Head of IT Controls Transformation and the Head of Business Controls Transformation. Represent the Internal Controls Transformation project team in discussions with collaborators on programme and change controls within the broader finance transformation programme or other finance-impacting project leadership. Highlight potential challenges or necessary revisions to scope, timetable, resources, or dependencies to relevant leadership. Identify improvement opportunities within the ICFR project plan, such as process changes or control automation. Collaborate with IT Controls Transformation peers, Business Controls Transformation peers, and the Internal Controls team on specific project elements. Prepare briefing documents for external auditors and perform quality reviews of documentation to ensure readiness for testing. Work closely with internal collaborators, such as teams reporting to Divisional CFOs and CIOs, Tax, and Treasury, to achieve essential transformations and tackle issues. Skills & Capabilities Outstanding project management and organisation skills to manage delivery of workstreams to deadlines. Proven management skills for directing day-to-day activities of internal and external support. Strong communication skills to articulate work status and potential risks clearly. Good ICFR skills, especially in general IT controls relevant to large-scale programme and change management controls. Knowledge of business process controls is advantageous. Able to operate in a fast-paced environment and deliver change in a management role. Qualifications & Experience PCAOB audit experience and post-qualification experience in professional services or industry roles. Experience of delivering ICFR activities across at least one financial year cycle. Experience in navigating material weakness or significant deficiency remediation is advantageous. Experience with significant finance transformation activities in ICFR or related impacts is advantageous. Being a qualified accountant is advantageous but not essential.
