Job Overview
We are seeking an individual responsible for the sales and management of Tiling Contractors, Main Contractors, Regional House Developers, and Retail Outlets within a defined geographical area. The RSM will be targeted with the development and management of all accounts within the area, focusing on growth, margin, and market share. An RSM will have an expectation of growing and maintaining strong customer relationships by excellent knowledge of tiles and the tiling industry, key product trends, competitor operations, and customer entertaining.
Responsibilities
* Maintaining and developing customer relationships within the given region across all sectors listed above.
* Develop and deliver an ever-growing project pipeline of sales opportunities, seeking growth year-on-year.
* Ongoing evolution and development of product and industry knowledge.
* Meeting KPIs and targets set by the Head of Regional Sales.
* Monitoring performance of individual customers and overall area sales and work to develop strategies to increase sales and margin.
* Understanding of customer needs and how to achieve them.
Skills
* Proven experience in a sales management role, preferably within a similar industry.
* Social and outgoing personality.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to overcome barriers to sale.
* Ability to work alone in the field with strong self-motivation but also the ability to work closely with colleagues throughout the business and within a team environment.
* IT literate — competent in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and internal CRM system.
* Strong interpersonal skills and ability to adapt to each customer's working style, needs, and requirements.
* Highly organized with good route planning and time management skills to manage the day effectively and efficiently.
