Our Consultants Help Keep Our Critical National Infrastructure Secure Against Current And Emerging Threats. We Are Looking For Candidates With Civil Nuclear Protective Security Experience In The Following Areas Threat assessment. Security risk assessment and management. Site security surveys. Appling industry and National Authority standards and relevant good practice. Developing security requirements and applying a ‘secure by design’ approach to meet the Protective Security expectations of the Office for Nuclear Regulation. Conducting vulnerability assessment. Security related cost benefit analysis. Writing security strategy, policy, standards, and nuclear site security plans. Collaborating with cyber professionals on blended or hybrid security solutions which include both physical and logical controls. Project Management Experience in any of the following additional areas would be an advantage: Security engineering. Business impact analysis. Assessing and improving security culture. Security metrics. Contribution towards innovative thinking in the security domain. Application of security related computer-based software modelling tools. Security related work in support of an industry regulator. Blast analysis. Knowledge of how security and safety can successfully be integrated. Your Key Responsibilities Will Be To deliver protective security work, principally in the civil nuclear sector, to an agreed scope, cost, and quality. To function as an internal project manager for security related projects. To support the business axis to identify security related opportunities and to win new work, through campaigning activities that may include attendance at conferences, seminars, symposiums, and other similar events. To represent Frazer-Nash Consultancy at meetings with customers and partners. To lead on writing bids, with others, to win identified opportunities. To deliver all work in accordance with company quality and other standards. We deliver projects, varying in nature and size, to multiple interesting and challenging civil nuclear clients. Requirements Essentials At least 3 years’ experience in delivering civil nuclear protective security solutions. Degree level qualification or an additional 3 years’ relevant experience. Desirable A recognised security management related academic qualification. Membership of a relevant professional body such as the Security Institute. Register of Security Engineers and Specialists. Due to the nature of the work that Frazer-Nash Consultancy undertake, candidates will be required to undergo pre-employment screening and must be able to satisfy clearance criteria for UK National Security Vetting.
