Job Role: Residential Surveyor
Location: Southampton/Ringwood
Salary: Up to £55,000 per annum plus car allowance *depending on experience – Plus a generous commission structure
Hours: Monday to Friday

Due to continued business growth, a fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Residential Building Surveyor to join our innovative firm of Chartered Surveyors. Main Responsibilities
1. The role will involve carrying out residential secured lending valuations, homebuyer reports and building surveys, servicing our largest and longest standing clients which include some of the worlds most established banks and building societies.
2. Survey and value a wide spectrum of residential properties throughout London and the South East.
3. Utilize iPad technology to enhance efficiency and productivity.
4. Forge excellent relationships with lenders and deliver a best in class service.
5. Work closely with clients and maintain close contact with lenders and Private Clients.
Experience
Minimum of two years’ post-qualification experience and experience of carrying out Level 1, 2 and 3 residential surveys for private clients and/or lending institutions. Have used tablet technology for site note taking and be familiar with Quest software, GoReport, RightMove Surveyor Comparable tool and Building Cost Information Service (BCIS) reinstatement valuation. Mortgage valuations Red Book Valuations for residential property RICS Level 2 Surveys RICS Level 3 Surveys Disrepair Surveys.
Ideally will have experience in:
* Development appraisals
* Party Wall Awards
* Project management
Qualifications and Skills:
AssocRICS, MRICS or FRICS qualified applicants who have experience in residential valuations. Candidates with MBEng, MCIAT, MCIOB or MICWI qualifications may qualify for our AssocRICS qualification route. It would be preferable if you have some experience of carrying out mortgage valuations, homebuyer reports and building surveys. Excellent presentation and communication skills are essential, as is IT literacy and the ability to manage varying workloads to tight deadlines.
