Are you ready to make an impact transforming the EV battery recycling industry? At Altilium, we’re turning spent battery material into high-quality raw materials that fuel the green energy revolution.
As a Mechanical Technician, you’ll be instrumental in ensuring the smooth setup of our plant, supporting the installation and operation of machinery and equipment. We’re looking for someone proactive, mechanically skilled, and safety-conscious to help us get our facility up and running.
What You’ll Do:
• Assist in the installation, setup, and maintenance of equipment
• Operate processing equipment with precision and care
• Perform checks and troubleshoot issues to ensure smooth operations
• Carry out routine maintenance to ensure machinery and equipment are in good
working order
• Help ensure a safe working environment by adhering to all safety protocols
and wearing necessary PPE
• Handle and transfer chemicals safely using appropriate PPE and following
strict safety protocols
• This role in the future, will involve chemical sampling, handling, and inventory
management. Full Training will be provided.
What You’ll Bring:
• Health and Safety Knowledge: Familiarity with manual handling, and a
commitment to wearing full PPE
• Operational Skills:A forklift/reach forklift license, IPAF (scissor lift/cherry picker
license, and PASMA certification are desirable. Experience with confined space
entry and a general understanding of process machinery/equipment would also
be beneficial. Training will be provided for fusion plastic welding and other
related skills
• Emergency Preparedness: Knowledge of risk management, emergency
procedures, and safety protocols
• Adaptability: Willingness to take on a variety of tasks and work in a dynamic
environment
• Safety-Driven: You put health and safety at the forefront of everything you do
• Proactive and Solution-Oriented: You act decisively to overcome challenges.
This role would be ideal for candidates with a background in warehouse operations, fitting, mechanical maintenance, or similar fields, though we welcome applications from individuals with diverse experience
