A newly insourced role in our European leadership team, the Head of IT leads a small team based across Europe to guide our IT roadmap and deliver a strong business support service to the business.
This role can be based in either the UK (Yorkshire or Midlands) or Netherlands (Heerhugowaard) with some travel required and a flexible approach to location to enable success.
Reporting to the VP for Finance and IT based in the UK, the Head of IT will drive continuous improvement in technology solutions, supporting our ambition to be best in class and underpinning our continued growth with high quality BAU services and a clear roadmpa for future development.
They will manage an internal team of infrastructure and support associates, as well as external partners, to deliver and excellent customer experience.
To be successful in this role you are likely to be able to demonstrate:
* Successful experience in building and overseeing a technology team that provide excellent customer experience and outcomes
* Good technical knowledge with the initiative to keep a finger on the industry pulse to identify development opportunities and anticipate and mitigate risk
* Strong business partnering capability with the ability to develop and maintain strong and effective stakeholder relationships
* Good analytical skills with the ability to communicate technical concepts in an easy-to-understand way to non-technical colleagues
* The ability to plan, lead and sustain effective and positive change
* Confidence to use your initiative to avoid and resolve issues, and identify opportunities for improvements and growth
* A values-driven approach, with a strong preference for collaboration and teamwork
If you have previous elevator / accessibility experience and proficiency in an additional European language to English, that would be an advantage but is not essential.
