The Childrens Trust is the UK's leading charity for children with acquired brain injury, providing expert rehabilitation, education, therapy, and care at our national specialist centre in Tadworth, and to children and their families across the UK, via our Brain Injury Community Service.

Job Responsibilities
The role of the Registered Nurse (Band 6) is to assist the House Manager by leading and managing a team of Registered Nurses (Band 5) and Children’s Support Assistants, ensuring the safe and effective delivery of a high standard of care across a twenty-four hour period.
Person Specification
Qualifications
* Registered Nurse.
* Evidence of continuing professional development.
* Educated to degree level or equivalent experience.
Experience
* Minimum of 2 years experience within the equivalent of a Band 5 role in a relevant field.
* Previous experience of working with children/young people.
Knowledge
* Proficient user of Microsoft Office and Word.
* Understanding of responsibilities in line with safeguarding vulnerable children and their families.
Skills & Abilities
* Evidence of experience using advanced communication skills to lead a team.
* Evidence of previous involvement in the change process.
* Able to demonstrate a holistic approach to the care of children.
