Overall Purpose of the Role
* To ensure the smooth planning and delivery of the food and beverage service within all premium bars/Lounges and any special events to our client and customers
* To achieve operating standards that exceed the guest's expectations through strong leadership and effective management.
* To manage the business needs and performance standards in line with the Core Signatures guidelines, Client Service Level Agreements and KPI's
* Ensure the smooth delivery of a first-class catering product and service to our clients and customers within our Premium Bars/Lounges and each allocated special event.
* To demonstrate full alignment to our Levy UK vision and values by creating and living the Levy Difference through delivering Legendary Experiences & Powerful Partnerships
* To show willingness to all types of event and operations within the premium areas
* To lead operationally special events set up by the sales team.
Key Accountabilities
Health and Safety
* To maintain H&S compliance and lead a health & safety culture.
* To personally demonstrate that you take responsibility for your own health and safety and that of others.
* To ensure the compliance with all Responsible Service of Alcohol processes and RSA incident log handover is reported at the end of every event.
* To maintain the high standards that bottled cocktails requires following the SOP.
People
* Complete all sign in sheets, ensuring breaks are recorded and taken in line with working time regulations.
* Support your line manager in recruitment, inductions, training and development of the variable labour in accordance with the needs of your area of responsibility.
* Actively communicates with all area Managers and team members to build positive team morale, completing pre-shift briefings.
* Identify training needs of individuals and carry out required training as necessary and in conjunction with each specific Lounge Manager, ensuring all staff are trained on menu and wine choices, as well as upselling techniques and how to use the till system.
Financials
* Actively up sell each request to maximise revenue and profitability, as well as helping to guide and brief staff to do the same.
* Investigate and monitor all card variances, ensuring and variances are logged and reported to the Operational Data Analysis Manager
* Ensure all end of day procedures are completed and tills closed correctly at the end of each shift.
* Makes personal recommendations based on knowledge and experience to improve products and service.
Client Relations
* Collectively support both the Amex Lounge Manager and the Premium Bars Manager to meet the needs of clients and delivery of first-class service to guests.
Customer Satisfaction
* Acknowledge and act upon individual customer needs whilst observing the service standards.
* Deal with all customer comments in a positive manner and take appropriate follow up action where required.
* Monitor customer feedback and take appropriate follow-up action where necessary.
* Have knowledge of all premium bars and special event products and be able to advise the customer in a professional and helpful manner.
* Share best practice across units and strive in the achievement of total customer satisfaction.
* Operational delivery of all allocated special events, ranging from small internal meetings to large dinners/working lunches
Business Excellence
* To deliver consistently against agreed service standards set by the Deputy Head of Hospitality and Special Events Manager, to work in line with Levy UK Core Signatures for all premium areas.
* Ensure that the delivery of catering services is in line with set standards within the business as outlined in SOP's.
* Communicate with culinary team to inform them of what areas will be open, what we expect sales and attendance levels to be, as well as any other updates.
Sales
* To proactively drive sales for your area of responsibility
* To drive increase in spend per transaction.
* Implement selling techniques to staff to maximise opportunities and ensure that all premium bars and The Loft team effectively uses suggestive and up selling techniques.
