Job Overview:
Logistics 2 U is seeking experienced self-employed Van Drivers to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods in and around Devon, completing up to 50 stops delivering flat pack furniture or similar items to homes.
We are looking for an immediate starter who isn't shy of multi-drop deliveries and is ready to get stuck into the work.
Working hours are Monday to Friday, starting between 06:00 AM - 08:00 AM, with no more than 10 hours per day.
Duties:
1. Driving a Sprinter van and delivering goods around Devon
2. Adhering to all safety regulations and traffic laws
3. Performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle
4. Maintaining accurate driving logs
5. Communicating with dispatch as needed
Requirements:
1. Valid Cat B licence
2. Proven experience as a multi-drop delivery driver - Minimum 1 year
3. Knowledge of home deliveries
4. Ability to drive long hours and travel regularly
5. Strong work ethic and reliability
