Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Cisco Network Engineer with a current CCNA or CCNP certification and DV clearance to support and maintain critical network infrastructure within a secure environment. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Cisco networking, routing, switching, and security solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design, implement, and manage secure network architectures in high-security environments.
* Configure and troubleshoot Cisco routers, switches, and firewalls.
* Work with LAN/WAN, MPLS, VPNs, and SD-WAN technologies.
* Perform network monitoring, performance tuning, and fault resolution.
* Ensure compliance with government security policies and network best practices.
* Provide technical leadership and mentoring where required.
Key Skills & Experience:
* Current CCNA, CCNP (Routing & Switching / Security / Data Center) certification.
* Knowledge of Cisco Firepower, ASA, Nexus, and ISR routers.
* Experience with network automation (Python, Ansible) and cloud networking (AWS/Azure) is desirable.
* Familiarity with Juniper, Palo Alto, and Fortinet is a plus.
