Summary of the Role
Responsible to: Principal
We are currently seeking to appoint a Full Time Quality & Compliance Lead, to join our Team. The role will encompass supporting the Principal and Director of Quality & Training/Academy Director with a number of Quality Assurance and Funding Compliancy activities, including the completion of ongoing Learner Documentation Audits, carrying out Lesson Observations and Visits and generating and analysing Data Reports.
Responsibilities:
Administration including the use of PICS
Ongoing Data – Uploading of Learners/Maintaining Learners/Removing Learners for both Leavers and Achievers
Uploading Data monthly
Correcting entry errors
Checking Statistics
Creating Reports timely – standardised and on request
Data information to support the SAR and QIP Quality Reports
Administration including Learner Loans Portal
* Creating Learner Loan Letters
* Confirming Learner Attendance and Reporting
* Adding ULN and sourcing from MIAP
* Auditing against Registers, PICS, FRM Reports
* Communicating actions in regards to Funding draw down
* Archiving after R14
Administration including Funding
* Forecasting the Funding split for EFSA and Advanced Learner Loan
* Updating Reynolds SMT on Learner Numbers, Funding spend/cashflow and growth opportunities
* Auditing Termly or as necessary
* Maintaining knowledge on Fundable Rules and Guidelines to communicate with the SMT
* Regular communication with the Principal, Director of Quality & Training and Programme Manager’s in relation to Learner documentation requirements and any actions
Administration including Quality Assurance
* To assist the Director of Quality & Training/Academy Director in providing support and guidance to Teaching Staff, Assessors and IQAs
* Provide guidance to Programme Managers and Teachers on SOW and Lesson Resources
* To ensure the Academy is up to date with all Awarding Organisation Quality Standards and Regulations
* To assist the Programme Managers with preparing for and hosting EQA Visits
* Carrying out Joint and Individual Lesson Observations and Lesson Visits in line with the OTLA Schedule
* Completing Audits on the quality of Learners Assessed Work, Learner Trackers, Lesson Observation Reports and ongoing Staff and Learner Compliance requirements
* Supporting the Director of Quality & Training/Academy Director with the review of Academy Policies, the SAR and QIP Reports and Notice to Improve Reports
General RTA Responsibilities
To attend Internal and External CPD Training Sessions, as required
To commit to the RTA Safeguarding and Child Protection Policies and promote a safe environment for children and young people learning within the Academy which includes undertaking a Criminal Records Bureau check for this post
To support the RTA Management in all Health and Safety matters and take reasonable care for the Health and Safety of yourself and other persons who may be affected by your acts or omissions at work

To be successful in this role you will need:

* Good knowledge of ESFA, Ofsted and different Funding Streams
* Good IT Skills, familiar with Teams, Word and Excel
* Proven experience and results of Teaching, Assessing and/or IQA
* A UK Teaching Qualification (PTLLS, DET, DTTLS or PGCE).
* A UK Assessors Qualification (A1, TAQA, or equivalent).
* A desirable UK Internal Quality Assurance Qualification (V1, IQA, or equivalent)
* Desirable knowledge of PICS and Manage Assess as operational Software Platforms
