The Procurement Manager role is a key member of the Procurement and Environmental Management department .The unit is responsible for insuring the best value for money spend and reduce the risks with our suppliers, leading the procurement process for larger and strategic contracts.
Description
The role will manage the category of spend in collaboration with internal stakeholder from development of category strategies to implementation to ensure optimised quality, TCO, and high service level across the business.
The role will need to work closely as a procurement business partner with different departments for several categories of indirect spend procured by the organisation including.
The main category of focus will be Indirect categories ( for example Travel, RH) and direct (good for sales) which is the within the portfolio.
This role reports to the Head of Procurement and could deputises for them in their absence. The role is an actor in the development of the wider organisation's procurement function including successful implementation of process and governance.
