Hours: Full-Time (Monday to Thursday, 9 AM - 5 PM; Friday, 9 AM - 4:30 PM)
Brook Street is thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity for a Clerical Officer to join our team in Londonderry. This role is essential for providing administrative support within a dynamic office environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Maintain general filing systems and operate computerised information systems.
2. Record and distribute incoming mail/post, handle routine correspondence, and manage outgoing mail.
3. Prioritise and organise work effectively to meet deadlines.
4. Perform scanning and photocopying duties.
5. Type up documents, including letters, memos, and reports.
6. Liaise with team members and other departments or agencies as needed.
7. Ensure compliance with data protection legislation and confidentiality policies.
Qualifications:
Education: 5 GCSEs (Grades A-C) including English Language or equivalent/higher educational standard
OR 2 years of relevant administrative/clerical experience
Skills:
Knowledge of computer packages (e.g., MS Office, Email).
Familiarity with office procedures.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
