At Claremont Fan Court School, we are committed to fostering an inclusive and nurturing environment where every student is supported to thrive. We are seeking an inspiring and dedicated director of individual needs to lead the Special Educational Needs (SEN) provision across our senior school.
As the director of individual needs, you will collaborate closely with academic and pastoral teams, parents, and external agencies, shaping the delivery of bespoke educational support and ensuring our pupils have the support and guidance to achieve their full potential.
The successful candidate will have a good honours degree in a relevant discipline and a qualification related to teaching and assessing pupils with specific learning difficulties (Level 7). They will have experience teaching children with individual needs in a senior school setting, an understanding of specific difficulties and how they can be supported within in an individual lesson and in the classroom, as well as previous experience of leading and managing a team.
