Hays are seeking experienced Job Evaluators on an interim basis as part of an ongoing programme of work. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development and implementation of our job evaluation processes, ensuring fairness and consistency across the council.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct comprehensive job evaluations in line with council policies and procedures.
2. Collaborate with various departments to gather and analyse job information.
3. Provide expert advice on job evaluation outcomes and their implications.
4. Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and best practices.
5. Prepare detailed reports and documentation to support evaluation findings.
Requirements:
1. Proven experience in job evaluation, preferably within a public sector or local government setting.
2. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
4. The ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
5. Knowledge of relevant job evaluation methodologies and tools.
