Job summary Alliance Psychological Services is an independent provider of counselling and psychological therapy services based in the Tees Valley area and working across the North-East region. We are working in partnership with Teesside Mind to deliver the IMPACT on Teesside service. Impact on Teesside is a partnership between Teesside Mind and Alliance Healthcare to provide IAPT services to our communities. The service is providing innovative approaches to counselling and wellbeing. We are looking to appoint a part time Hi Intensity Counsellor (Qualified) to work 14 hours per week who will work at offices across Teesside. The salary is £27,540 per annum, pro rata to hours worked. The successful candidate will be employed by Teesside Mind. Main duties of the job We are looking for qualified HI Intensity Counsellor to join our team. The postholder will be a Talking Therapies for Anxiety and Depression (TTAD) Qualified Counsellor. They will hold a qualification in either Counselling for Depression (CFD), Couples Counselling for Depression (CCFD) or Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT). You will provide a range of evidence-based psychological interventions as part of Impacts Primary Care Psychological Wellbeing Therapies (PWT) Team serving GP Practices across the Tees area. You will assist in coordinating the timely and effective delivery of Counselling therapies within both the Core IAPT and Counselling Pathways in collaboration with the Service Manager, Locality Managers and Counselling Leads.
