2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Partner with UX/UI Designers, Strategists, and Product Owners to create personas, user journeys, service blueprints, affinity maps, and other visual artefacts.
3. Translate business goals into research objectives: Work closely with project teams to identify challenges and opportunities, ensuring that research goals are tied to business and design outcomes.
4. Drive data-informed design decisions: Organise findings into meaningful patterns, relationships, and recommendations to optimise existing knowledge and deliver measurable value.
5. Support design ideation: Leverage user flows and interactions to contribute to the development of intuitive and effective user experiences.
6. Champion continuous improvement: Monitor project progress, foster a culture of agility and learning, and stay informed about the latest tools and methodologies.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role
1. Expertise in qualitative and quantitative research techniques, including usability testing, surveys, and stakeholder interviews.
2. Experience producing visual deliverables such as personas, service blueprints, and user journeys.
3. An understanding of UX/UI design principles and how research connects with the design process.
4. Experience using collaboration tools such as Mural, FigJam, and Figma, and a willingness to adopt new technologies.
5. Proven experience working within multi-disciplinary teams to deliver impactful results.
6. A creative thinker with a background in design, who thrives on problem-solving and innovation.
7. A motivated self-starter who adapts quickly to new industries, including government, insurance, and energy retail.
8. A practical understanding of the differences between academic research and the challenges of industry-focused work.
Together, as owners, let's turn meaningful insights into action.
Life at CGI is rooted in ownership, teamwork, respect and belonging. Here, you'll reach your full potential because you are invited to be an owner from day 1 as we work together to bring our Dream to life.
