Description | Salary £31,067 - £35,235 Per annum | Fixed Term, Full Time, until 24/11/2025, 37 hours per week | International Sponsorship – this role is not open to international sponsorship The Lancashire Safeguarding Business Unit (LSBU) are seeking an individual to undertake the Training and Comms Officer role on a 12-month basis covering maternity leave. It is an instrumental role supporting Lancashire Safeguarding Partners and the Business Unit to deliver key training priorities identified in both the Children Safeguarding Assurance Partnership (CSAP) and Safeguarding Adults Board (SAB) strategic workplans. The successful candidate should have excellent communication skills coupled with experience of delivering engaging training and presentations to diverse audiences that will contribute to developing and implementing effective safeguarding policy and practice. Given the sensitive and emotional nature of our work, resilience is a key required attribute. Ideally, we are looking for someone to work full-time, 5 days a week. However, we are open to exploring alternative working patterns for the right candidate. We would encourage you to contact us and discuss options available. The LSBU operates a hybrid working model and while you'll enjoy the freedom of remote work, we do require the post holder to be present in the office at least 2 days a week.
