We are seeking a talented individual to join our Commercial Client Executive team at Marsh. This role will be based in Bristol. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
We have a fantastic opportunity to lead a highly successful and growing team of Client Executives and manage a portfolio of corporate clients. This is the perfect role for a client service and growth focussed insurance Executive with team leader / management experience or someone looking to progress their career into management.
We will count on you to:
* Effectively mentor and manage a team of Client Executives to ensure best practices are followed and excellent client retention is maintained
* Identify individual development goals and opportunities to support learning and career progression for team members
* Manage a personal portfolio of predominantly large, complex and/or multinational clients
* Support and encourage the team’s sales activity in order to achieve new business growth targets
* Proactively work with internal and external networks to build relationships with prospective new clients and achieve personal new business targets
* Lead and sign off programme design activities
* Produce budget proposals and negotiate fees
* Host client and insurer meetings in conjunction with specialist broker and client handling teams
What you need to have:
* Significant Property-Casualty (Combined) insurance experience
* Previous people management or supervisory experience preferred
* Demonstrable experience dealing with challenging situations and individuals
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Negotiating and Influencing skills
* Analytical and problem solving skills

* The ability to remain calm under pressure and be able to work flexibly when required
What qualifications are preferred but not required?
* Cert CII qualified and working towards ACII is desirable
