Job description
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Group Risk Analyst.
Role purpose:
1. Provide day to day administration support and assistance to Group Risk clients
2. Managing the quotation process for Market Reviews and New Business
3. Liaising with the Consultants
Responsibilities:
4. Preparing business reports for Group Risk products, including renewal and new business
5. Effectively managing administration of existing schemes including flexible benefits
6. Sending out renewal invitations and request client data
7. Preparing and comparing client data
8. Effectively managing administration of renewal process
9. Managing quotation process for market reviews and new business prospects
10. Place schemes on risk and ensuring smooth inception
11. Ensuring accuracy of client invoices/accounts/policy documents prior to dispatch
12. Liaising with insurers to resolve claims & membership issues
13. Identify and manage medical underwriting requirements
14. Answering incoming telephone calls/emails and responding to client enquiries
15. Maintaining good working knowledge of Group Risk market & products
16. Attend insurer and client meetings as required
17. Adhering to regulatory requirements at all times
18. Working in accordance with GDPR/Data Protection and adhering to TCF at all times
Key Skills
19. Understanding of Group Risk products - Life, Income Protection, Critical Illness, Death in Service Pension, Flex and Business Protection
20. Client focus and service
21. Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with clients, colleagues and key providers
22. Understanding of relevant regulatory requirements
23. Proficient in principal Microsoft Office applications
Qualifications:
24. GR1 qualified or working towards
