Calling all superstar RVN’s!
If you’re looking for a role where you can develop your skills and pursue areas of interest, then we have a great opportunity here for you at Kendal Vets for Pets!
Our practice is situated right at the edge of the Lake District, near enough to escape there after work. We’re only nine miles from the M6, which means you’ve got great access to the rest of the UK to make the most of your time off.
This is a 32-hour position with no OOHs and Saturdays are on a rota basis with 1 in 4 expected.
You’ll be joining a friendly, supportive team, who are passionate about being the best that we can be, going that extra mile for our clients, and feeling a sense of pride in our practice. Our practice provides excellent facilities giving you access to all the equipment and space you need to care for your patients. We are in a great location with ample parking and great access to local amenities. Take a look at our google tour here.
Along with a competitive salary up to £31,000 pro rata, we offer all the standard benefits you’d expect from a major employer (pension, healthcare, paid memberships, competitive salary etc.) plus a few more, such as excellent career progression, exclusive lifestyle and shopping discounts (up to 30% off at Pets at Home), and relocation packages from within the UK.
You should have great interpersonal skills, the ability to be self-motivated and reliable, and an eye for excellent client (and patient!) care. We are keen for our RVN’s to develop or practice their Schedule 3 skills and be able to embrace every aspect of the RVN role, working with clinical and non-clinical staff to provide the best service possible.
Pets just see people. And just like pets, we embrace everyone’s differences. We work to break down barriers, attract and develop diverse talent, and create a culture that allows everyone to be the best that they can be.

Pets just see people. They aren’t biased and they don’t discriminate. We take our inspiration from pets, and we value and respect difference in all its forms. Our aim is to reflect the diversity of the communities we operate in, and every colleague can help us achieve this. We encourage our people to be themselves so even if your skills and experience don’t perfectly align, if you think you can make a unique contribution through your values and behaviours, we want to hear from you!
