The key responsibilities include:
1. Raising the profile of the Foundation by implementing an inspiring programme of proactive communications using a range of digital and traditional media channels designed to reach our key target audiences.
2. Working closely with the Development team to develop and deliver a varied programme of events for Donors, potential Donors, professional advisors, voluntary groups and other audiences.
3. Working with the Development team to deliver marketing materials suitable for our key audiences.
4. Plan and deliver occasional themed fundraising campaigns.
What’s really important to us:
1. Experience in a marketing and communications management role.
2. Experience of managing and editing websites in Squarespace.
3. Experience of managing social media channels and creating impactful social media campaigns using Publer, Canva or similar.
4. Experience of developing printed publications including liaising with external agencies to see through design, print and delivery stages.
5. Brilliant copy writing, editing and proof-reading skills.
6. Experience with communications planning and working to achieve plan targets.
7. A beady eye when it comes to details.
8. A positive, ‘can do’ attitude.
9. A professional, friendly approach to all our stakeholders.
10. The ability to be self-motivated and highly organised.
The icing on the cake:
1. Experience of running campaigns to attract new funders.
2. Experience of using digital marketing tools such as Publer, Mailchimp, Google Analytics, Canva, etc.
3. Experience of managing e-newsletter/email campaigns.
4. Experience of using databases (ideally Salesforce) to generate targeted mailing lists.
5. Experience of planning and running impactful events.
