Assembly Fitter
Permanent position for an Assembly Fitter / Coach Builder to work Monday to Friday (Half day Friday), no weekend working, no shifts. Starting salary £25,700.
Overtime paid at x1.5. This is a market-leading growing company with a full order book for the next two years, offering opportunities to work for a company that invests in training to develop your skills further.

The Assembly Fitter role involves working on bespoke projects for a company that builds vehicle bodies for light and commercial vehicles. They are a leading name in their sector, known for quality and innovation, providing further training and a clean, modern, friendly working environment.
This position would suit someone confident using hand tools and power tools, who enjoys working in a team within a modern, clean, and organized environment. If you have experience as a Vehicle Builder, Coachbuilder, Vehicle Mechanic, Vehicle Technician, Maintenance Engineer, Mechanical Assembler, Mechanical Fitter, Joiner, or Manufacturing Technician, we would be very keen to speak with you.
What’s in return for the Assembly Fitter role:
* Basic salary: Circa £25 – £27K a year, with potential further rises after passing probation.
* 39 hours basic with OT paid at x1.5.
* Clean modern working conditions.
* Further training provided to upskill.
* Full-time Permanent position.
Duties of the position:
* Assembling bought and finished components onto vehicles (e.g., lights, racking, grab rails, steps).
* Some light electrical work (12v).
* Utilizing hand and air tools in manufacturing operations.
* Following SOPs.
* Measuring and marking out, ideally using tapes, micrometers, and verniers.
