About the Reception Role
As a Reception Team Member, you’ll be a key contact for our customers, providing exceptional service throughout their stay. From welcoming and checking in guests to assisting with queries and proactively upselling park facilities and extras, you’ll ensure every guest feels valued and cared for.
Job Type: Seasonal (fixed term)
Hours of Work: Various hours (includes evenings (up to 7pm), weekends, school holidays, and Bank Holidays)
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver exceptional customer service from check-in to check-out.
* Proactively upsell accommodation upgrades, park facilities, and extras.
* Prepare welcome packs, arrival reports, and park literature.
* Efficiently handle calls and respond to guest requests.
* Adhere to key and cash handling procedures.
* Accurately manage all reception administration.
* Provide information about the park, local area, and attractions.
* Respond to customer concerns and resolve issues effectively.
* Use booking, alarm, key tracking, and till systems accurately.
* Communicate clearly with other departments via radio, phone, and email.
* Act as an ambassador for the company at all times.
Education, Training, and Experience
* Competence in Microsoft Office/other IT systems.
* Previous experience in a customer service role.
* Knowledge of the local area (beneficial).
* Excellent communication skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced setting.
* Previous experience in a receptionist or front desk role is advantageous.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
* Flexibility to work various shifts as required by the business needs.
