An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Operations team as we prepare to transition from our Bishopbriggs site to Robroyston in 2024/2025. This role will support the Supply Chain Operations Team and will be responsible for testing, developing, and training users on the new software.
Key tasks and accountabilities
1. Understand current warehouse systems (Nexus) and become familiar with current wave deployment to the Warehouse.
2. Shadow the warehouse planner to ensure you can carry out all tasks associated with the role efficiently, without supervision.
3. Develop future warehouse requirements for order release, picking, packing, and despatching processes.
4. Ensure systems design and implementation meet operational needs.
5. Record Test outcomes in Microsoft DevOps software package.
6. Carry out re-testing and liaising with software provider to develop successful systems solutions.
7. Ad hoc duties as required.
Skills required
1. Strong attention to detail required.
2. Excellent communication skills across all levels.
3. Ability to work under pressure and be highly organised.
4. Knowledge of testing methodologies would be advantageous.
